Who are we
Based in Paris, we are a corporate business skills training company dedicated to accompanying organisations and their team members in increasing their effectiveness and performance. We work in partnership with our clients to gain in-depth knowledge of their unique needs and provide appropriate training plans for their needs. Our highly experienced trainers and coaches are all native-English speakers with multi-cultural backgrounds.
Our flexible, tailor-made approach puts the client at the heart of a hands-on plan and has allowed us to work in a wide array of businesses in both France and abroad.
We are proud to have delivered training packages to our clients all over the world: from Singapore to Canada, Russia, Nigeria, Scotland, France, England, Italy, Norway and many other countries across the globe.
At ILIC we believe our trainees need to be empowered with confidence as well as developing long-life skills. We aim to deliver simple, easy-to-use, and repeatable solutions for our trainees so they can implement what they’ve learned in real life situations.
Our dedicated and passionate trainers provide the latest programme theory and then work with the trainees on how to implement it in their business life. Trainees are encouraged to participate and contribute to their own development in the seminars thus enabling the trainers to develop specific needs and scenarios for success.
And, we constantly update all our programmes to ensure our trainees continue to have the confidence and the business skills to meet their goals in an ever-changing global business environment.
Our training philosophy is that practice leads to confidence and therefore results. For our trainees to be confident in using their newly acquired or developed skill set, they must feel they have the tools to use as well as know when to use them. Through our training and coaching sessions, we challenge our trainees constantly to to use their experience and the programme theory to practice in a safe environment and gain the results they’re seeking.
ILIC CONSULTING was founded in 1977 in Paris by Malcolm McCallum, a Scotsman with a passion for training. From the outset, the focus was on helping businesses increase their effectiveness and performance as well as transitioning in change.
We have always worked in close partnership with our clients to gain in-depth knowledge of their unique needs to co-develop the appropriate action plans. This approach has also enabled us to foster longstanding relationships as many of our clients have worked with us since the 1970s and 1980s.
In 2014, David Spiers, founder of AMBOS Business Associates, took over the business and continued to develop the ILIC programmes, adding new modules such as cross-cultural management, assertive communication, and global diversity and inclusion. Most recently, we identified an increasing need to develop professional coaching to partner our training sessions. From the outset, these have been a real success with our clients.
